What The Commitment Includes
This is a proposed commission, not an instant purchase of existing books. Before any payment, we agree in writing on the manuscripts, companion work, delivery schedule, publication and reader-copy quantities, book signings, public appearances, readings, reporting, rights, author compensation, expenses, and cancellation terms. No publishing, adaptation, or ownership rights transfer unless expressly agreed.
Patron acknowledgment is optional. Editorial independence stays with the author. The intended 80% community-support / 20% author allocation and any processing fees will be addressed explicitly in the final budget.
